Quit hating on my friend Cece  :(

i don't hate cece, she knows she's the coolest 14 year old i know  it was just the comment she made towards holly that bugged me. besides, i wouldn't bother pointing it out if i didn't like her.

I think PIB gets the award for the worse sig ever.....

that's just plain wrong, comparing Bush to a Nazi...

It's not wrong...If you say a lie long and hard enough, people begin to believe it...

Although, I guess I shouldn't insult Hitler like that--I heard he was a really good speaker.

Oh, yea, I made the sig.

About the Flip-Flop issue...guess who did all these exciting things!

First, he was against campaign reform. Then, he was for it.

First, he was against a Homeland Security Department. Then, he was for it.

First, he was against a 9/11 commission. Then he was for it.

First, he was against deficits. Now he's for them.

First, he was against an investigation into WMD. Now, he's for it.

First, he was against steel tariffs. Then he was for them. Then he was
against them again.

You did see the weapons inspector's report today right?

And you still support Bush?

Honestly, I feel safe in lumping you in with those people who blindly support Bush regardless of what he says or does.

Why? Because he feels there's more to the decision than simply Iraq?

Blair has as much to answer to as Bush in light of the weapons inspector's report. But I've not ruled out voting for Labour next year. Does that mean I'll blindly follow Blair regardless? No, it does not. Although Iraq is undoubtedly important, there's just more to my vote than this single issue.

Yeah...I saw the news reports about that, but I still feel the world will be a better place without a Saddam Hussain....

Bush sent our troops to Iraq to get him...and they did...

Just like we went into Afghanistan to get Bin Laden...and we will...

....and lets not forget, Kerry agreed to send the troops too....

Nice logical jump :)

But no.  I lump him into that group because of a SUM of things he has said over time.  His positions in this thread only being a part of it.

But if you would like me to change this from being a simple dismissal of his politics into an actual attack on his politics, I would be happy to.

List of Facts about GWBush.

1) The US Economy is DOWN or has SLOWED in almost every measuable factor since 2000.
2) Bush supports a law that would REMOVE a right THAT ALREADY EXISTS from a minority (being, gays) in this country.
3) Bush has repeatedly spurned environmental improvements that hurt businesses
4) Europe HATES Bush.  Even most of our allies.
5) He led us into a war on false information on then refused to admit or apologize for his mistakes
6) He has no concept of BUDGET SPENDING.  Largest deficit increase in over 20 years.
7) He promised NOT to dip into social security.  Then did so.
8) He is using war funds on OTHER projects

Those are just a few.  I did a list of over 20 of these on another MB last week.

Even at the VERY LEAST I would vote for Kerry because he cannot POSSIBLY be as bad as Bush.

Going INTO the war was never my big problem with Bush.  Going into the war for the WRONG reasons was.  I am glad we went in.  We jsut should have done a lot of things differently.

The SUM of things?  Honestly, I haven't said all that much...all I've said is that Kerry flip flops on issues more and more....

someone listed some things the Bush flip flopped on...and I said they had something in common....

I don't like politicians, they are ALL the same....they all make promises and break them, they ALL LIE!

If Kerry is elected, he'll lie just like all of the other past presidents....

another thing I keep saying is that nobody is perfect, and I understand that Bush has flaws, but so does Kerry...

I've seen a lot of people seem like they're putting Kerry on this friggen pedestal, that from what I've seen and heard of him, he doesn't deserve to be on...

That's my position, and I'm sticking with it...I respect you for standing by your man (so to speak   )

That anwers my question. Your post implied that you lumped him into that category because he still supported bush after the negative weapon's report.

No I'd prefer you didn't... Oops too late ;-)

I'm not out to defend Bush. Those 20 things are probably all be true, but they're not relevant to the point I was trying to make.

WELL ...

Me?

Being sigged means that my name adourns every post Andrew makes ... I am dragged around where ever Andrew posts!!

And since Andrew is NOT afraid of stirring things up a bit
and not afraid of some controversy ...
his sigging me makes it look like I absolutely (and blindly) agree with everything he says
and I can hear myself applauding even ...

And when you scroll down quickly everything is blurred ...
and so it appears that I am partaking in all the wonderfully debates
that I really truely try my best to avoid and be dragged into!!!

I find it funny.

Having said that, aside from a few things I do generally agree with  him ... but it's just strange that iot looks like I"M ALWAYS in agreement and supportive his stand ;-)

That's all :-)

You can all come live on my Island when I finally get one.
But there will be NO TALK of politics, and we will all play nice. :-)

Vale?

After reading through this thread, maybe that suggestion a while back about having a debate forum wasn't such a bad idea.
