Why? We love rap.

I just thought with all the British slang, British accents and British culture subject matter that it would never really interest anybody outside of this country.

yeah.... I don't get half of what he says.  But I googled a lot of it and I asked Rosie about a lot of it.  And she helped fill me in.  And some of it you can figure out from the context.

Like, my new favorite word is "row."  I love it.  It's so much more fun than saying "fight!!!"

Tip: You could also say Barney :)

Edit: I think it comes from the cockney rhyming slang "Barney Rubble" meaning "trouble".

A barney?  As in "I gut inna barney las night wit these 2 geeza's from Leicester.  It was proper hairy."

You know, I think I remember a lyric where Mike Skinner says "I got a fat lip from this barney" and I assumed it was a slang term for a PERSON or group of people.  Like a Townie.

Edit: I love cockney slang!

Yup. Exactly like that.

Or "Andrew and Brian just had a proper barney in the polls forum". The possibilities are endless!

Is that his name now?  I can never tell.  It changes every week.

I am practicing being English so that when I have to flee the US as a political refugee from Bush I can take residence in the UK, marry Rosie's cousin and be a lord.
