This is a unique poll. The Canadian accent isn't especially prominent, is it? Tell me if I'm wrong. But if I had to choose, Australian.

And don't go saying that people in Kentucky have Southern accents cause that's stereotypical and better left for people further towards the border!

Wasn't there a REAAAALLY long thread discussing this a while back?
There is a correct pronunciation, check the dictionary. And the Midwest/Ohio area is a generally correct accent, minus a few words (Washington is sometimes pronounced "Warshington", uggh).

Cincinnati's not bad, I guess, but I almost can't listen to someone from Cleveland without wanting to order sausage from them.  A big problem I have with most people in that region is that they tend to silence W's and L's after certain vowels, making it difficult to distiguish some words.
